Armagnac XO Excellence
Dark amber brandy with coppery green lights, brilliant and clear.
Perfumed flowers predominate, then with aeration, notes of roasted coffee emerge, along with fresh plums and chamomile.
The attack on the mouth is bold, with a light note of violets developing, bringing nobility and panache to the brandy. Tannins are not marked, but well-blended. The finish is very fresh and pleasant. Some ageing is still necessary for this brandy to settle.
Match with : rich, invigorating coffee like Arabica from Cuba.
